Charlotte Green McCarty

Charlotte Ann Green McCarty, 78, of S. NC Hwy 150, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Green was born January 10, 1948, in Wyoming County West Virginia to Charles Edward Green and Ester Naomi Love Green. Charlotte enjoyed spending time gardening, painting, diamond art, going to the beach, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Kenneth Mayhorn.

Surviving are two sons, Brian Mayhorn (Cemantha) of Lexington and Davids Green (Marie) of West Virginia; two daughters, Kimberly McCarty of Lexington and Katrina Luck (Mackie) of West Virginia; four brother, Roger Dale Green (Marco) of Virginia, Steve Green (Lynn) of West Virginia, Eddie Green (Frances) of Virginia and David Eugene Green of Texas; one sister, Sue Sizemore (Bob) of Virginia; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
