Charlotte Sophie Tiedemann

Charlotte Sophie Tiedemann age 89 passed away Wednesday morning, July 25, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 27 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Dr. John Beeg officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, FL. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service. Charlotte was born Sept. 8, 1922 in Richmond County, NY to Julius Lener and Elise Deger Lener. She worked at Ellis Jewelers and was a member at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John H. Tiedemann who died in 1983; three sisters, Monica Schreiber, Pauline Rahelich and Martha Rapp. Surviving are, one son, Raymond John Tiedemann and wife Deborah of Sayville, NY; one daughter, Janet L. Griffin and husband Jerry of Lexington; five grandchildren, Brian and wife Wendy, Karen and husband Rick, Scott and wife Mary Beth, Kerri and husband Brandon and Kathleen; nine great grandchildren, Victoria, Ashley, Riley, Zachary, Natalie, Paige, Kayleigh, Skylar and Jessica.
