Charlotte Tysinger

Charlotte Glover Tysinger, 72 of Lexington, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, November 18, 2024, at Bethany Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Michael Martin and Rev. David Talbert officiating. The family will receive friends at the church before the service from 2:30 – 4:00 and other times at the home.

Charlotte was born July 21, 1952, in Nash County, to Charles Woodrow Glover and Sadie Murray Glover. She graduated from Garner High School and attended East Carolina.

Her passions were her faith, family, NC State, and especially her grandchildren who called her “Grandmommy”.  She enjoyed times with family and friends, especially her vacations to the beach. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and recently a great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband and care giver for 44 years, Gregg Tysinger, of the home; daughter, Ryan Williams (Brad) of Smithfield, Lyndee Koonts (Keith), son Kent Tysinger (Carla), both of Lexington; grandchildren, Gracie Plott (Drew), Sydnie Koonts, Kathryn Williams, Jacob Williams; great grandchild, Windsor Plott; sister Linda McDaniel of Raleigh; brother David Glover (Jackie) of Bluffton, SC and many other nieces and nephews.
