Cherri Tamiko Samuels

Cherri Tamiko Samuels passed away peacefully in the arms of family on the morning of January 29, 2012 after 79 beautiful and unforgettable minutes. She was born at 8:11 am and met the eyes of Jesus at 9:30 am the same morning. Cherri experienced holding hands with mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from her family and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. Cherri was the beautiful daughter of Paul Samuels, Sr. and Cheryl Dixon of Winston-Salem, NC. Cherri is survived by three siblings, Paul Jr., Cynthia and Charlene. Cherri is survived by her maternal grandfather, Curtis Dixon of Winston-Salem, NC, paternal grandparents, Timothy and Cynthia Samuels of Kernersville, NC and paternal great grandfather, Charles Samuels, of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Cherri was preceded on her journey by her maternal grandmother Shizuko Butner and uncle Pastor Philemon A. Samuels. A private graveside service will be held on a later date. Funeral arrangements were arranged and handled by Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel 858 Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
