Cheryl Ann Burkhart Norris

Cheryl Burkhart Norris, age 59 of E. Holly Grove Road, Lexington died Tuesday in Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ conducted by Rev. Jimmy Norred and Rev. Roger Wiles and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Cheryl was born in Davidson County, October 22, 1948 to Claybern Burkhart and Maxine Meachum Burkhart. She was a member of Mt. Tabor UCC, was a former employee or Duracell and a graduate of Central Davidson High School Class of 1967. Surviving are: Husband; Edward (Eddie) Norris, Jr. of the home, Son; Brian Norris and wife Elizabeth Scott Norris of Lexington, Father and Mother; Claybern and Maxine Burkhart of Lexington, Twin Sisters; Karen Coppley and husband Chris and Melinda Caddell and husband Charles all of Lexington, two special nephews Neil and Ross Coppley of Lexington. The family will receive friends at Mt Tabor United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall Thursday from 1 until 2 pm, prior to the service and at other times at the home.
