Cheryl Sink Tesh

Cheryl Lou Sink Tesh, 79, died on Monday, November 20, 2023.  Cheryl was born April 12,1944 in Forsyth County, NC to Lawrence Hubert “Jake” Sink and Louise Hanes Sink.  She was a graduate of North Davidson High School, class of 1962.

She was a member of Hebron United Church of Christ for many years, and later attended Bethany Church of Lexington.  She retired from Wake Forest Baptist Health Ophthalmology department.  Her family was her first priority, and will mostly be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 61 years, Randall Tesh; daughter, Allyson Tesh; son, Jimmy Tesh; grandson, Leath Cooper; sister, Gaye S. Lane; brothers, Larry Sink, David Sink (Judy); sister-in-law, Vicki Sink; and brother-in-law, Steve Martin.  She will also be remembered fondly by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Along with her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by mother and father-in-law Virginia and Phil Martin, as well as brothers-in-law Lannie Sink and Terry Martin (Mary-Sue).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Cheryl Tesh to the American Heart Association or Davidson County Animal Shelter.

The family will visit with friends from 3-5 PM on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.  A brief memorial blessing will be made at 4PM.
