Chester Clark Tulbert, age 83, of Winston Salem passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Oak Forest United Methodist Church with Rev. Darren Alexander. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
Chester was born September 27, 1928 in Forsyth County to Frank James Tulbert and Brady Harris Tulbert. He was a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church. He retired a hard working truck driver with 47 years and a former employee of Anchor Motor Freight. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother; Edgar Tulbert, sister in-law; Cleo Tulbert.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Nancy Fishel Tulbert of the home, his sons; Gary Tulbert and wife Anne, James (Jim) Tulbert and wife Linda, Keith Tulbert and wife Brenda all of Winston Salem, his daughters; Myra Perryman and husband Keith of Rural Hall, Kitty Medlin and husband Bryan of Midway, Jenny Moretz and husband Tony of Pinnacle, his brothers; Jack Tolbert and wife Betty, Huey Tolbert, Roy Williams and wife Ann all of Winston Salem, his sisters; Faye Ball of Clemmons and Bonnie Brown and husband Kenny of Winston Salem. He has 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His beloved pet Lady Bug.
