Chip Berry, 39, of Will Hunt Road, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Duke Medical Center, Durham.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reeds United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. Gary Foster. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Berry was born in Coweta County, Ga., on November 25, 1967, to Claude Earl Berry and Norma Ann Hunt Berry. He was a graduate of West Davidson High School and employed at Duck’s Body Shop. His father preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother of Lexington; sister, Glenda Prowell of Atlanta, Ga.; brother-in-law, David C. Prowell of Fairburn, Ga.; nieces, Tanya Prowell of Ellicott City, Md., and Katie Prowell Anguish of Wilmington; and nephew Jason Prowell of Dallas, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
