Chong Byrd

Chong Yim Byrd, age 73 of Brookstone Haven, Randleman formerly of Lexington died Friday in Randolph Memorial Hospital after several years of declining health. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, March 31, 2008 at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Byrd was born on March 5, 1935 in Korea to Yong Kun Pak and Sun Mo Sin. A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith. Her husband, Ralph Byrd, preceded her in death November 22, 1998. Surviving are one sister, Jung Mee Pak Lim of Seoul, Korea. There will be no public visitation.
