As a young man, Chris attended North Davidson High School, graduating with the class of 1989. He then pursued higher education at UNC Charlotte, where he graduated in 1994, enriching his mind and soul through the pursuit of knowledge.
One of Chris's greatest passions was traveling the world. He had a curious spirit and an adventurous heart, leading him to explore the wonders of Europe and Africa. Embracing diverse cultures, Christopher found immense fulfillment in experiencing new places and meeting people from all walks of life. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, he cheered for his team with enthusiasm. He loved listening to his favorite music by Jimmy Buffett, seldom missing a concert. Also had a true love for the Lord, attending church regularly.
But above all else, Chris's legacy lies in the deep connections he forged with others. His kind and caring nature endeared him to many, and he was surrounded by a vast circle of friends who adored him. His infectious laughter and positive outlook on life brightened the lives of those he encountered, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
As we bid farewell to Chris Wesley Mize, we find solace in the memories of the joy he brought into our lives. His spirit will live on in our hearts, and the lessons he taught us about love, friendship, and embracing life to the fullest will forever guide us.
May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all. Rest in peace, dear Chris.
