Christine Bulla

Ruby Christine Bulla, 89, of West 5th Ave. passed away Tuesday morning at her home after 5 years of declining health. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Groome. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Friday prior to the funeral. Christine was born in Danville VA on October 19, 1925 to John Albert Wampler and Laura Belle Roberts Wampler. She was the owner and operator of Old 64 Gift House and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are; her husband of 69 years Donald Bulla of the home; two daughters, Lynn Beck and Amy Halverson both of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Lydia Craver, Russ Craver, Sam Halverson and Emily Elliott and one great-grandchild Cole Elliott. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Memorial Fund of Trinity United Methodist Church, 902 South Main Street, Lexington NC 27292.
