Christine Strobe Johns

Christine Roxanne  Strobe Johns, 72 of Homestead Drive in Lexington, passed away Thursday October 3, 2024 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday October 7, 2024 at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Gary McGee officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Mrs. Johns was born July 6, 1952 at Edward Airforce Base in Kern County California to Carl Joseph Strobe and Virginia Mae Grove Strobe. Christine was strong in her Christian faith and attended Restoration Community Church. She enjoyed Gardening, Nursing, Cooking, Arts, Fishing, hiking,and spending time with her family doing puzzles and games.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving is her husband, Lewis Earle Johns, of the home; two daughters, Naomi Johns of Asheville and Esther Johns of Lexington; a sister Roxanna Christine Vess of Asheville, 1 grandchild, Anastasiya Johns, and several nieces and nephews.
