Christine Reid Myers

Christine Reid Myers, 94, of Lexington, passed away May 29, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 2, 2023, at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington, conducted by the Rev. Danny Leonard officiating. The family will see friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Myers was born October 21, 1928, in Davidson County, to John William Reid and Viola Weaver Reid. Christine was a devoted life member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lexington. Her passion was her faith, church, family and especially her grandsons. Christine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Myers and son, Martin Myers.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Lauren Vannoy and husband Mike of Clemmons, two grandsons, Samuel Boston Clarkson of Lewisville,  and William Myers Clarkson of Atlanta, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheel of Forsyth County, 2895 Shorefair Dr., Winston Salem, NC 27105.
