Christopher Wilson “Chris” Davis, 46, of Becks Nursery Road, died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home. Chris was born August 8, 1965, in Davidson County to James Irvin Davis and Catherine Barber Davis. He was a former employee of Wellington Hall and Davidson County Work Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are brothers, Jeff Davis and Billy Davis of Lexington; and sisters, Lola Kirk and husband Randall of Lexington and Frances Lanier of Denton.
