Christopher "Chris" Lee Watkins

Christopher (Chris) Lee Watkins, 45 of Kildee Dr. Lexington passed away Tuesday September 23, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem after a sudden illness. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday September 25, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington. Christopher was born in Davidson County on March 17, 1969. He was store manager for Asheboro Shell Station. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Frances Bracken and his grandfather, Thomas Weygandt. Surviving are his parents, Dave and Barbara Bracken Weygandt, his sister Brandi Weygandt and his brother Chad Watkins and wife Amy, and his grandmother Helen Weygandt .
