Christopher Brent Jarrett age 57, of East Highway 64, died suddenly Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at his home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008, at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ, where he was a member, by the Revs. Jimmy Norred, and Butch Conrad. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jarrett was born September 29, 1951, in Davidson County, to Gene Jarrett and Nancy Myers Jarrett. He was owner of Jarrett Lumber Company.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Edwards Jarrett of the home; two sons, Brent Jarrett and special friend, Roxanna Monday, and Greg Jarrett and wife, Shannon, all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Brandon Jarrett, Dakota Monday, Jason Shull, Ryan Shull, and Jacob Jarrett; a sister, Kathy Jarrett Mabry and husband, Franklin of Lexington; and his parents, Gene and Nancy of Lexington. The family is also expecting their first granddaughter, Ashlyn, in February. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.
