Christopher Lynn Reavis

September 7, 1961 — June 10, 2022

Christopher Lynn Reavis, 60 years old, passed away on June 10, 2022, at his home in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Greensboro, NC on September 7, 1961, to Larry and Karan Reavis.

Christopher graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts/Music Degree and then completed his Ministry Degree from Rhema Bible College in 1986. Tulsa, OK was his home for over 30 years.

Christopher LOVED life, sports, music (all genres), and everyone he met. He was an avid traveler and spent many years exploring the world. He was an Entrepreneur at heart and had recently launched his latest enterprise, Palladium Transport. One of his greatest achievements was completing 40 marathons and an ultra-marathon. Most importantly, he deeply LOVED God and his family!

He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law – Hunter Wesley & Ashley Reavis, and his daughter & son-in-law and their three children – Jordan & Cory Bowman, Sawyer, Finn, and Hazel Bowman; his parents – Larry & Karan Reavis, his sister & brother-in-law and their children & spouses & grandchildren – Fran & Mike Helpingstine, Alexandra & Robbie White, Kaikoa & Akeakamai White, Michael & Montana Helpingstine; his sister-in-law and her children – Tamara Reavis, McKaylee & Jones Reavis. He was preceded in death by his younger brother – Larry Jones “Jay” Reavis of St. Louis, MO.

A Memorial Service will be held at his home church, Reynolda Presbyterian Church, on June 26, 2022, at 3 pm. Address: 2200 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem NC, 27106. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church for future local and global missions work.

“We live within borrowed time and walk in rented shoes but let us go out having loved, laughed, and forgiven!” We will deeply miss our Christopher – an incredible son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and faithful friend! Romans 12:10 “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.”
