Chuck Clodfelter

Charles “Chuck” Ralph Clodfelter, 68, of New Bowers Road in Lexington passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 29 at Hedricks Grove Reformed United Church of Christ with Rev. William Sowers officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Saturday before the service and other times at the brother’s home located on Allred Road.    Chuck was born on January 20, 1950  in Forsyth County to James Ralph Clodfelter and Montise Young Clodfelter.  He retired from the service department at M & L Motors after working for 40 years.  Chuck was a member of Hedricks Grove Reformed United Church of Christ.  He had many enjoyable hobbies which included chopping wood, helping the community, working with Meals on Wheels and old cars.  He was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving is a brother, David Clodfelter (Vicki) of Lexington; sister, Genita Franks (Jackie) of Siler City and several nieces and nephews.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hedricks Grove Reformed UCC Cemetery Fund, 3840 Allred Road, Lexington, NC 27295.
