Cynthia Jo Tate Burrow, age 56, passed away Saturday (10-18-2014) at Hinkle Hospice House after several years of declining health.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in Davidson Funeral Lexington Chapel with Rev David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.
The family will see friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son at 706 Rockcrusher Road.
Cindy was born in Davidson County on September 11, 1958 to Richard Grey Tate and Barbara Donese Roach Tate. She worked for Lexington Furniture and then was a CNA with Alpha Health Care until her health forced her to retire. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Thomas Burrow of the home; sons, Christopher Tate and wife Rhonda Kaye and Justin Koonts and wife Meghan, both of Lexington; her mother of the home; her beloved grandchildren, Korbin Tate and Madison Tate; sister, Martha Ellen Tate of Lexington; and very special friend Denise Spence.
