Cindy Leigh Nixon

Cindy Leigh Nixon, 59, of Lake Drive in Lexington passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm Monday January 7 at Becks Evangelical Lutheran Church with Vicar J. Robert Crawford, IV officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-3pm Monday at the church prior to the service.

Cindy was born in Lake Charles, LA on January 31, 1959  to Melvin Green Nixon and Sylvia Brogdon Nixon.  She worked as a registered nurse for Randolph Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her partner, Earl Scott Sollien, of the home; sons, Robert Lambeth (Jessica) of Lexington and James Hodge (Jennifer) of Lexington; daughter, Leigh Anne Lambeth of Lexington; brothers, John Nixon of Huntersville, Melvin Nixon, Jr. of Lexington; sister, Theresa Nixon of Lexington; and eight grandchildren, Bryson Lambeth, Rylee Lambeth, Cayton Jones, Madison Jones, Austin Hodge, Anthony Everhart, Grace Gooding and Faith Gooding.
