Clara Everhart

Clara Jarrett Everhart, 83, of Centerclair Nursing Home and formerly of White Street, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by Dr. Robert Floyd. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mrs. Everhart was born Feb. 21, 1923, in Davidson County to Luther Franklin Jarrett and Millie Myers Jarrett. She was a homemaker and a member of North Lexington Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Wilford Everhart; a brother, Edward Jarrett; and a sister, Dorothy Everhart. Surviving are two brothers, Lacy Jarrett and his wife, Barbara, of Lexington, and Lester Jarrett and his wife, Deanie, of Ahoskie. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home of a brother, Lacy Jarrett, 569 Leonard Road. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
