Clara Jo Hege

Clara “Jo” Adams Hege, age 100, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, Winston-Salem, NC. A private burial will follow immediately after the service.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Davidson Funeral home on Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem. NC.

Clara was born on September 28, 1925, in Davie County to the late William Charles Adams and Leona Katherine Caudle. She and her husband managed and worked their own farm for many years. She was a member of Mt. Olivet UMC. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lacy Eugene “L.E. Hege Jr.; her son, Robin Fowler; daughter, Patsy Hege Sims and her husband Samuel; son in-law James Fulton her brother, William Paul Adams; sisters, Maud Kiger, and Lillian McBride, great-grandchild Hayleigh. Left to cherish her loving memories are her daughter Brenda Hege Fulton; grandson, Ricky Fowler (Corey); and great-grandchildren, Sophie and Ryder.
