Clara Mae Ball Weisner

May 25, 1932 — July 27, 2014

Clara Mae Ball Weisner age 82 graduated to Heaven under the loving care of the staff of Hinkle Hospice, Sunday morning, July 27, 2014. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with the Rev. Daniel Miller officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at Gay Grubb’s home. Clara was born in Davidson County on May 25, 1932 to Elmer and Clara Mae Johnson Ball. She was a homemaker, a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and graduated from Midway High School. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Clarence Odell Weisner (2000). Surviving are her children, Jerry Wayne Weisner (Donna) of Lexington, Rev. Roger Dean Weisner (Cindy) of Trinity, Teresa Gay Grubb (Bobby) of Lexington, Keith Allen Weisner (Christie) of Lexington; brothers, Larry Ball (Carolyn) of Winston-Salem, Wilbert Ball (Ruby) of Clemmons, Ralph Ball (Jean) of Nashville, TN; sister, Evelyn Weisner (Woody) of Thomasville; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 2922 Bethesda Road, Lexington, NC 27295 and Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27295. A special thanks to her doctors, Dr. Steven Klein, Dr. Louis Valente, Dr. David Defeo and the staff of Pallative Care at Forsyth Hospital. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
