Clarence Earl Coley

Clarence Earl Coley, age 78, of Brian Center, formerly of Beckford Drive, Lexington passed away Sunday morning (October 31, 2010) at Brian Center.  Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday (November 2, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Preacher Tim Lively officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday and at other times at the home of his daughter Brenda Britton, at 150 Winchester Court, Lexington.   Clarence was born in Johnston County, NC to William Thomas Coley and Rether Stalling Coley.  He was a retired employee of Dixie Furniture.  Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Frances Johnson Coley in 1983; a sister, Sena Mary Powell and a brother Danny Coley.   Surviving are: one daughter, Brenda C. Britton and husband Don of Lexington; one granddaughter, Gina Koontz; one great-grandson, Nathaniel McDaniel; two sisters, Barbara Thorne and husband Melvin and Ruth Reynolds and husband Jerry all of Greensboro ; one brother, Tommy Coley and wife Ruth Ann of Kernersville.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
