Clarence Paul (June) Miller, Jr., age 97, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 16, 2026.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Macedonia United Methodist Church, officiated by Tammy Talbert. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation with family and friends will take place in Spirit Hall from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
Clarence was born on November 8, 1928, in Davidson County, North Carolina to Clarence Paul Miller and Odessa Michael Miller. He retired after many years of service as a conductor with the Winston Salem Southbound Railroad. Clarence was a faithful member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, a very kind and humble man who was peaceful to everyone. He loved the outdoors and loved the lake where he enjoyed life with his family and friends sharing life stories and experiences.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 1/2 years, his parents and his sister, Rebecca Berrier.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Karen Rhodes (Buddy Holder) and Jan Miller, both of Lexington; three grandchildren, Jodi Rhodes Correa (Edgar) of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Dustin Rhodes (Julie) of Pompano Beach, Florida, and Jeni Hedrick Stilwell (Seth) of Lenoir, North Carolina; and three great-grandchildren, Ariana Correa, Eva Correa, Ella Stilwell, and sisters Sue Ward of Advance, North Carolina and Betty Mock of Lexington, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 190, Southmont, NC 27351 or Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
