Clatie Jordan Berrier

Clatie Jordan Berrier, 85 of Lexington, died Friday, December 17, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. David Berrier. Burial will follow at the Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Clatie was born May 28, 1936 in Montgomery County to Charlie Walter Jordan and Zannie Mae Nichols Jordan. She was retired from Dixie Furniture. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, Donald Lewis “Don” Berrier, who died Sept. 29, 2014; her sisters, Norma Jordan Greene, Allene Haralson, Maxine Carter, Betty Jean Parker, and Peggy Shaw; her brothers, Charles Vernon Jordan and Kent Jordan. Her granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Parks, who died Oct. 6, 2013; also preceding her is her brother-in-laws, Harold S. Carter, Walter Greene, Errest Haralson, Raymond Parker, Jay Shaw and sister-in-law, Mildred Jordan.

Left to cherish her memories her daughter, Carolyn Walser and husband, Larry of Lexington; her grandchildren, Brittany Parks Flynt and husband, Ross; step-grandson, Tim Walser and wife, Kim; a special grandson that called her Mawmaw, Conner Greene; sister-in-laws, Deanna Beck, Julia Clodfelter (Boyd), and Joann Jordan; and brother-in-law, Sam Berrier (Janice).

Also surviving are very special nieces and nephews on both sides, great nieces and great nephews, and Dale Ray Parks father, of granddaughter, Brittany Parks Flynt.

The family would also like to say a special thank you to the friends and family on Knob Hill who were so good to her throughout the years.
