Claude Franklin Mccrary

Claude Franklin McCrary, age 88 of Lexington passed away Thursday, December 22nd 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, December 28th 2016 at Midway United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 27th 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.   Claude was born July 11, 1928 in Davidson County to Cyrus Cicero McCrary and Selma Wagner McCrary. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and had served in the United States Army. Claude was preceded in death by his parents and wife Nancy Ruth Calloway McCrary.   Surviving are his children, Doug McCrary (Brenda), David McCrary,  Jeff McCrary (Winnie), Mike McCrary(Brenna), Holly Mosher (Rick) and Martha Colston, grandchildren, Julie Hinkle, Bobby Hinkle, Brad McCrary (Amanda), Melissa Dowdy (Luke), Matthew McCrary, Joshuah McCrary, Tess McCrary, Austin Mosher, Eric McCrary, Reagan Mosher and Hannah McCrary, great grand-children, Maggie McCrary, Brianna Franks, Gillian Hinkle, Lincoln Hinkle and Madison Dowdy, great-great grandchildren,Bryson and Lindy Marcum, sister Jewel McDade and a special niece Vickie Thompson.
