Daniel Clay Leonard, 29, of Lexington passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021.
A funeral service will be held at Friendship United Methodist Church 3 pm Monday, November 22 with Pastor David Peeler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm at the church.
Clay was born April 14, 1992, in Davidson County to Mitchell Henry Leonard and Kimberly Paige Brady Walser. He attended Friendship United Methodist Church. Clay was a Concrete Finisher with Tim Walser Concrete. He loved skateboarding and his two dogs, Mattie and Lucy. Mr. Leonard was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Stephen Brady and R.H. Leonard.
Surviving are his parents, Kimberly Paige Brady Walser and Timothy Wayne Walser of Lexington; two brothers, Matthew Leonard of Lexington and Collin Walser of Kernersville; two sisters, Ryne Elmore (Kenneth) of Lexington and Morgan Ross (Derrick) of Clemmons; six grandparents, JoAnn Brady, Lucille Leonard, Larry Walser, Carolyn Walser, Jack Essick, and Judy Essick; three nephews, Luke Elmore, Asher Elmore, and Isaac Elmore; and one niece, Parker Ross.
