Clayton Douglas Stepp

Clayton Douglas Stepp, 89, of Jackson Avenue in Lexington, passed away Saturday May 18, 2024 at his home.

Family will greet friends Thursday, May 23, 6:00pm -8:00pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington with a funeral service Friday, May 24, 2:00pm in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Doug McGee officiating.

Mr. Stepp was born March 20,1935 in Haywood County to William Carl Stepp and Nellie Rogers Stepp. Clayton was a member of Arrington Height Free Will Baptist Church and has a strong love for his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing and running Beagles. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Thelma Louise King Stepp; his son, Allen Stepp; his daughter- in-law, Janice Stepp and many brothers and sisters.

Surviving is granddaughter, Rheanna Stepp (John Helmstetler) of Lexington; his grandson, Jeremy Stepp (Amanda) of Lexington; 3 great-grandchildren, Douglas Helmstetler, Luke Stepp and Oliver, and a niece Revonda Gibson (Robbie) Stepp.
