Cleetus Edward Arthur

Cleetus Edward Arthur , age 67 of Glendale Road, passed away early Thursday February 28, 2013 at his home after an eight month illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, where he attended, with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home. Cleetus was born February 26, 1946, in Coffee County TN, to Thomas Jefferson Arthur and Audrey Mae Lemmons Arthur. He was retired from PPG. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Arthur and Cecil Arthur; and sister, Wanda Evans. He is survived by his wife, Mary Linda Brock Arthur of the home; sons, Vincent Edwin Arthur and wife Becky of Denton, Cleetus Earl Arthur and wife Angela, and Randy Travis Arthur, both of Lexington; daughters, Malinda Marie Garren and husband Chad of Lexington, and Margaret Angela Hensley and husband Donnie of Southmont; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Redus Arthur, Leroy Arthur, both of Manchester, Tn., and Clarence Arthur and wife Dot of Tullahoma, Tn.; and sisters, Mary Audrey of Winchester, Tn., and Polly Ann Watson and husband Walter of Tullahoma, Tn.
