Clell Batten Clodfelter

March 19, 1913 — October 10, 2006

Clell Batten Clodfelter, 93 of Eastside Dr., Lexington died Tuesday morning at Lexington Health Care after being in declining health for four years. Mr. Clodfelter was born in Davidson County on March 19, 1913 to William Lewis Clodfelter and Lora Lorena Conrad Clodfelter. He was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ and a past member of Pilgrim Reformed United Church of Christ. Mr Clodfelter was retired from Davidson EMC and a veteran having served in the US Navy during WW II. He is preceded in death by his first wife Annie Leonard Clodfelter and his second wife Irma Black Clodfelter and daughter Elizabeth Ann Glover. Surviving are a daughter Jayne C. Kernene of Taylorsville, Utah; grandchildren Barry Glover and wife Kelly of Lexington; Adrienne Burke of Draper, Utah; Ian Burke of Columbia, SC; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday October 13, 2006 at Pilgrim Reformed United Church of Christ. The service will be conducted by Rev. Jerry Moore and Rev. George Fiddler. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Reformed United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
