Mr. Earl Clement Sink, 63, of Helmstetler Road, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Health - Lexington Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Harper and Patrick Snow. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Mr. Sink was born July 26, 1950, in Davidson County, to Earl Clement Sink Sr. and Rachel Koonts Sink. He was retired from Thomas Built Buses after 35 years of service as a mechanical engineer and attended Friendship United Methodist Church. At the church he was a member of the Men’s Sunday school class. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Sink Biesecker.
Surviving are son, Zachary Clement Sink and wife Jacklyn of Lexington; grandsons, Tyler Zachary Sink and Trent Grayson Sink; brothers, R. Wayne Sink and wife Diane and Lendon Sink, all of Lexington; half sister, Pauline Peters of United Kingdon; and a special friend, Marie White of Lexington.
