Clemmie Hege Curry

Clemmie Hege Curry, age 101, of North NC Highway 150, Lexington passed away Saturday afternoon (May 28, 2011) at Hinkle Hospice House.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday (June 1, 2011) at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Robert Willard and Rev. Wallace Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday.   Mrs. Curry was born in Davidson County, February 3, 1910 to William Robert Hege and Minnie Pickett Hege.  She was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Odes Curry in 1980; four sisters, Fallie McDaniel, Lona Phillips, Lucille Eller and Stamey Moody; four brothers, Clyde, R.J. , Lawrence and Odell Hege.   Surviving are numerous Nieces and Nephews.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
