Cleve Nifong Thomas

Cleve Nifong Thomas. age 93, died Sunday at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hebron United Church of Christ Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Arkon Stewart. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Mrs. Thomas was born July 7, 1918 in Davidson County to Carl and Cordelia Nifong. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Thomas, and son, Edwin Thomas. She is survived by daughter Emily Reaves (Randy) of Lexington; grandchildren Rodney Thomas (Donna), Sherri Goss (Mark), and Evelyn Wintergreen (Sam); 6 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Iola Thomas; cousin, Mary Frances Craven, and her very special friend Betty Jones.
