Clifford Dale Crotts, 67, of Old Linwood Road, died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Lexington Medical Center, after a sudden illness.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hall officiating.
Mr. Crotts was born July 28, 1947, in Davidson County, to Clifford Lee Crotts and Dorothy Palmer Crotts. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Crotts retired from Smurfit-Stone Container in Lexington. After retirement he continued to work on his farm and machine shop. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his home on the coast of North Carolina. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jo Rowe.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jenny Myers Crotts; and brothers, Raymond Lee Crotts and wife Erlene, Jerry Carl Crotts and wife Louise, and Charles Edward Crotts and wife Dawn, all of Lexington; special mother-in-law, Virginia H. Myers, whom he loved dearly; his loving canine companion, Clancy; and several nieces and nephews will cherish his memory as well.
