Clifton Kerley, age 76 of Kenosha, WI passed away Monday evening at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday in the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel for family and friends.Clifton was born in Cabarrus County, NC on February 24, 1942 to Lawson Kerley and Inez Baskins Kerley. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a retired carpenter with Local Union 1693 in Kenosha, WI. He enjoyed watching "Packer" football on Sundays, spending time with his family and loved his canine Beagle companion "Duke". He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rommell. Surviving are his daughters, Darla Williams of Lexington, NC and Dianne Hyllberg (Bob) of Golden, MS; step-sons, Bert Unsinn and David Unsinn both of Kenosha, WI; son, Darryl Cain; step-daughter, Tammy Unsinn of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Dawn, Tommy, Kyle, Kevin, Kayla, Cody, David and Danny and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Ann Alban of California and Lucille Smith of South Carolina; brothers, James Kerley (Pat) of Gold Hill, NC, Gary Kerley of Kenosha, WI and Frank Kerley of Kannapolis, NC.
