Clifton Luck

Clifton Dwight Luck, 66, of Brekenridge Court, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at his home. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Darrell Cartrette. Military honors by the Davidson County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service, and other times at the home. Mr. Luck was born April 4, 1950, in Montgomery County to Clifton Curtis Luck and Vinnie Mozelle Gardener Luck. He was owner and operator of Luck and Associates and RMC Builders. He attended Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Marine having served with the 1st. Recon 1st. Marine Division. Preceding him in death was brother Keith Luck and two sisters, Beverly and Pam Luck. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Hollman Luck of the home; son Jonathan Luck (Crystal) of Lexington; two daughters, Carla Sebrina Luck of Lexington, Felicia McDonald (Todd) of Thomasville; eight grandchildren, Carly Luck, Eliza McDonald, Dalton McDonald, Tripp Dimery, Nathan Luck, Dwight Lee Luck, Kaleb Luck, Aden Luck; two brothers, Gary Luck and Darrell Gardner, both of Lexington; three sisters, Deba Keith of Denton, Sara Luck and Angela Callahan, both of Lexington; and his special service dog, Gentry.
