Clinton Blair Gilreath

Clinton Blair Gilreath, Sr. age 68 of Fleabo Road, Lexington passed away Tuesday morning (March 30, 2010) at Lexington Memorial Hospital.  Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday (April 3, 2010) at First Alliance Church with Rev. Paul Titus and Father Shane Kramer officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 prior to the service.   Mr. Gilreath was born in Gaston County, NC  September 12, 1941 to Baxter (Sam) Alexander Gilreath and Emily Henderson Gilreath.  He was a retired employee of United Parcel Service, attended First Alliance Church and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Sarah Gilreath.   Surviving are, his wife Kay S. Gilreath of the home; one daughter, Emily N. Gilreath of the home; one son, Clinton B. Gilreath, Jr. and wife Marcie of Hickory; four grandchildren, Taylor Gilreath, Bradley, Alicia and Courtney Gilreath and three great-grandchildren.   Memorials should be directed to the youth department of First Alliance Church, 424 East Ninth Street, Lexington, NC  27295     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
