Clinton Ronald Lockhart Sr. age 68, of Hwy 8 passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Lockhart was born November 4, 1942 to Burnett Lockhart and Jessie Cline Lockhart. He was retired from Sealy Mattress Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Randy Lockhart. a grandchild; CD Bennett. He is survived by his wife Lillian Heninger Lockhart, his sons; Clinton (Tiny) Ronald Lockhart Jr. , Darrell Lockhart all of Lexington, daughters; Sandy Edmonds and husband Jeff, Rhonda Bennett and husband David all of Lexington, his brothers; Billy Lockhart, Tony Lockhart, Richard Lockhart, Jr. Lockhart all of Lexington, his sister; Virginia Brown of Trinity, NC, his grandchildren; Lisa Crotts and husband David, Dakota Edmonds, Amber Edmonds, his great grandchild; Pop Pop’s little girl Zoey Page Crotts all of Lexington. Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is serving the Lockhart family.
