Clyde Beeson

July 28, 1931 — December 15, 2007

Clyde Herman Beeson age 76 of Lexington passed away on Saturday December 15 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. A funeral Service will be held 3PM Tuesday December 18, 2007 at Bethesda United Methodist Church where he was a member conducted by Rev. Doug Hochmuth. Burial will follow in Bethesda United Methodist Church cemetery. Clyde was born July 28, 1931 to the late Sam Harrison and Gladys Sink Beeson. Mr. Beeson served in the US Army during the Korean War. He later retired from AT&T following 37 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jane Thomason Beeson ; their three children, Krista Beeson Neill and husband Thomas C. Neill III, Tim Beeson and wife Linda Wooten Beeson, Joel Beeson and wife Melanie Leonard Beeson all of Lexington; seven grandchildren Brian Matthews, Dan Matthews, Jeff Beeson and wife LeeAnna , Susan Beeson, Seth Beeson, Ryan Beeson, and Lauryn Beeson; also surviving are two sisters Norma Beeson Day and husband Richard and Linda Beeson Richardson both of Lexington. The family will see friends 6:00 to 8:00PM Monday December 17, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home. Memorials made be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care Centers, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O. Box 1941 Lexington, NC 27293 or Bethesda United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 2922 Bethesda Road, Lexington, NC 27295. The family would like to thank the staff of the Elms at Tanglewood, Alston Brook Nursing Home, Hospice of Davidson County, and the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their loving care.
