Clyde Kenneth "Bubba John" Hedrick Sr.

Clyde Kenneth "Bubba John" Hedrick Sr., 81, of Harbor Drive SW in Supply, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Lexington Healthcare. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hedrick's Grove Reformed United Church of Christ by the Rev. William Sowers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Hedrick was born April 10, 1931, in Davidson County, to Carl Edger Hedrick and Viola Everhart Hedrick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from the City of Lexington Power Department and was a member of Hedrick's Grove Reformed UCC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Donnaree Koonts; and brothers Carl Jr., Charlie and Ralph. He is survived by sons Clyde Kenneth Hedrick Jr. and Carl Steven Hedrick; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers Clayton Hedrick and Tommy Hedrick; and sister Nancy Walker.
