Clyde "Ken" Kenneth Hedrick

Clyde Kenneth Hedrick, Jr. age 62, of Turner Road, Lexington passed away Saturday morning at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday (April 30, 2015) at Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ with Rev. William Sowers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the fellowship hall of the church from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Ken was born in Davidson County November 02, 1952 to Clyde Kenneth and Wanda Donaree Koonts Hedrick. He was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School, Class of 1971 and Davidson County Community College in 1974. He was a member of Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ and retired from Lucent Technologies in 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Nancy Lopp Hedrick of the home; daughter, Carol Hedrick Murray (Chris) of Lexington; sons, Timothy Hedrick of Lexington and Matthew Kenneth Hedrick of the home; brother, Steven Hedrick of Lexington.
