Clyde Quick

June 28, 1939 — July 10, 2020

Clyde Ray Quick, age 81, of Lexington passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2020 after an extended illness. A small, private gathering was held for his family.

Mr. Quick was born on June 28, 1939, in Glendale, Arizona to William “Willie” Amos and Myrtle Omey May Hambrick Quick of Tulare, California. Surviving are his stepdaughter, Deborah Loftis (Vaughn), and stepson, Michael Riggles-both of Lexington; two granddaughters, Erica Loftis and Kara Wood (Brandon)-both of Lexington, five great-grandchildren, Deanna Loftis and Brenna, William, Lillian, and Samuel Wood-all of Lexington; three sisters-in-law, Mary Frame (George) of Denton, Karline Knapp of Welcome, and Randi Godfrey of Cherryville; two brothers-in-law, Walter Broom (Debbie) of Elon and Karl Broom, Jr. (Linda) of Federalsburg, Maryland; a host of nieces and nephew; and many other loving family members and friends.
