Colleen Michael

Colleen Moody Michael, age 69, of College Park Road, Lexington died Friday night in Magnolia Gardens in Spencer after declining health of one year. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel will the Rev. Ray Howell IV. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Michael was born on November 8, 1937 in Davidson County to Howard Moody, Sr. and Josie Smith Moody. She retired from PPG Industries and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother Howard Moody, Jr. and sisters Willa Mae Black and Martha Clement Elliott She is survived by sons Mark Michael and wife Troi Ann, Randy Michael and wife Lynne all of Lexington and Ricky Michael and wife Ava of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren Zach Michael, Nicole Michael and Jennifer Michael Tucker all of Lexington and a brother Carol Moody of Linwood. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son on Happy Hill Road. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O.
