Colon "Tommy" Clodfelter

August 1, 1932 — March 29, 2025

Beloved Colon Verdie (Tommy) Clodfelter, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away March 29, 2025, at age 92.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at St. Lukes Lutheran Church with Rev. Angela Powell and Rev. Jennifer Ginn officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm in Pless Hall at St Lukes.

Colon was born August 1, 1932, to Gilmer Clodfelter and Minnie Swicegood Clodfelter who preceded him in death along with his brother Freddie Clodfelter and his beloved son, William Charles Clodfelter. He was retired from the Lexington Police Department. He proudly served in the United States National Guard for 10 years. Colon was an avid bowler and had a passion for surf fishing as he loved the beach.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Margaret Williams Clodfelter of 74 years; his grandson, William Cody Clodfelter, who brought him great joy in life along with great-grandchildren Charlotte and Wyatt Clodfelter, who he loved dearly. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Memorials in honor of Colon may be directed to St. Lukes Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 4299 NC Hwy 150 S., Lexington, NC 27295.
