Connie Marie Sneed

Connie Marie Farabee Sneed, 76, of Linwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Born April 2, 1949, in Davidson County, Connie was the daughter of the late Robert “Bruce” Farabee and Jessie Cody Farabee. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Pete Sneed, and her brother, Robert Lee Farabee.

Connie’s greatest joy in life was her family, and she will be deeply missed by those she loved. She is survived by her son, Daniel Sneed (Melissa); daughters Joy Lanning, Kimberly Brown (Wesley), and Amanda “Mandy” Hedrick (Derek); grandchildren Melanie Price (Dustin), Katelynn Sneed, Abigail Sneed, and Lydia Sneed; and her cherished great-grandchild, Josie Claire Price.

A service honoring Connie’s life will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastors Nathan Brinkley and Jason Koontz officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Connie will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hinkle Hospice, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC.
