Constance Ackley Watson

Constance (Connie) Ackley Watson, age 73 passed away Saturday 2/1/2014 at Pine Ridge Health in Thomasville after a 10 year period of declining health. A Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Stanley Savage. Entombment will follow the service. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel. Connie was born on August 12, 1940 in Towanda PA to Harry Edward Ackley and Anna Grace Beal Ackley. She retired as Director of Housekeeping for Bermuda Run Retirement in Clemmons. She attended Full Gospel Church in High Point. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Earl Watson of the home; daughter, Julie Lankford stepson, Frank Watson (Suzanne) and stepdaughters, Renee Carlton (Donald) and Kristi Jones (Ken) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Kristen Foley (Dustin), Clay Watson, Keith Carlton, Kyle Carlton (Krystle), Korey Carlton (Britney), Dillion Watson, Logan Jones; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Gracin, Shanna, Kaidan Carlton and brother, Gary Ackley (Patti) of Jacksonville Fla; and 3 nieces. In lieu of flowers; memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Pine Ridge Health and Hospice of Davidson County, for their care and kindness for Connie.
