Cora Waisner Brown

Cora Waisner Brown, age 80 of Pineridge Care Thomasville, formerly of County School Road, Lexington passed away at Pineridge Care Thursday night. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Jersey Baptist Church with Rev. Morris Hollifield officiating. Burial will follow in Jersey Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Saturday. Cora was born in Denton, NC September 4, 1933 to Albert Walter and Freda Caroline Lanier Waisner. She was a homemaker and a member of Jersey Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph David Brown on July 18, 1997; sister, Edna Mae Gallimore; brothers, Jimmy, Harlton, Virden and Hobert Waisner. Surviving are her daughters, Vickie Ramirez (Juan) of Lexington and Lori Ovadia (Dan) of Brunswick, GA; son, David Brown of Lexington; grandchildren, Hunter Ovadia and Juan (Junior)Ramirez; brothers, LeRoy Waisner (Betty Sue) and Edward Waisner (Polly) all of Thomasville.
