Corinne Briggs Burris

Betty Corinne Briggs Burris age 87 passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Brookdale of Asheboro.

A graveside service will be 6 pm Thursday at Becks Reformed Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Chris Johnson. Burial will follow in Becks Reformed Cemetery. The family will host a reception at Becks Lutheran Church following the graveside service.

Mrs. Burris was born June 5, 1934, in Caswell County to Early Briggs and Odeal Chandler Briggs.  Her husband, Jimmy Martin Burris, preceded her in death. She was a retired teacher’s assistant with Davis Townsend School.

Surviving are her son, Martin Burris of Lexington, his wife Morgan, and grandchildren Aubrey and MacKenzie Burris, all of Lexington.
