Cornelia Leonard Carrick

Cornelia Leonard Carrick, 93, of Lexington passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Lexington Health Care.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday, September 27 ^th at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Clodfelter officiating the service.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Carrick was born in Davidson County on July 8, 1926 to Harvey Franklin and Eunice Broadway Leonard.  She retired as a cashier from A&P Grocery Store after 26 years and was a member of Linwood Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Carrick; brothers, Franklin Leonard and Carl Leonard; and sisters, Inez Freeman, Elizabeth Byars and baby Ruth.

Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Cross and husband, Kim, of Lexington and Judy Binkley of Thomasville; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Louise Leonard.
